CYSTIC FIBROSIS EDUCATION

As part of the medical staffs at Children’s Memorial Hospital, Edward Hospital, Evanston Hospital, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and Rockford Memorial Hospital, we are committed to the teaching of cystic fibrosis care to general pediatricians, family medicine physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

As part of the University of Illinois at Chicago and Northwestern University Medical Schools, we are actively training our future cystic fibrosis physician care providers. Formal conferences and lectures on CF are regularly delivered to local medical staffs in Chicago as well as to national audiences.

Chicago CF CARE Specialists sponsors a summer internship program for medical students who desire training and experience in cystic fibrosis care.
