Cystic Fibrosis
As part of Children’s Asthma Respiratory and Exercise Specialists (CARE
Specialists), Chicago CF CARE Specialists was founded in 2003. Chicago CF
CARE Specialists was founded on the principle that every person with CF
deserves the opportunity to realize his or her potential. Set in multiple
private locations, the staff at Chicago CF CARE Specialists are dedicated
and ready to meet the unique medical challenges of you or your child with
CF.
Dr. Boas is on the Medical Staff at Children’s Memorial
Hospital, Edward Hospital, Evanston Hospital, Northwestern University
Hospital, and Northwest Community Hospital. Patients under our care have
access to Chicagoland’s brightest physicians, multiple hospitals, and a
large network of ancillary support. Our CF Center extends to Rockford,
Illinois due to the presence and expertise of Dr. David Shoberg, a Board
Certified Pediatric Pulmonologists and Cystic Fibrosis Specialist. Dr.
Shoberg has joined Chicago CF CARE Specialists in 2004 adding over nine
years of additional CF clinical experience.
With accessibility and customer service the hallmark of Chicago CF CARE
Specialists, children and young adults with CF have the opportunity to
experience individualized CF care in a private practice setting.
